A stock photo of a music
studio mixing console was
selected for the ad background.
2.
To reduce the background
to its basic elements, a
distracting chair in the
photo was removed.
3.
So that text in the ad could
be reversed out and still
read clearly, the studio image
was darkened, buttons on the
console made to appear illuminated.
4.
The final image as used in
the ad still reads clearly
as a studio but is pushed
far to the background.
