Work
by Craig Cheatham
At
the moment I have only a few of
my images available for viewing
online. These are an eclectic
mix which will be developed into
several galleries of similar themes.
My work over the last several
years has been exploring the use
of the Iris 3047 digital fine-art
printer (or "gicleé")
for printing my work. I shoot
primarily 35mm, scan the images,
rework them in photoshop and print
onto watercolor paper.
Most of my work consists of images
of the desert southwest, the east
side of the Sierra Nevada range,
and the central coast of California.
In the last 2 years I have been
shooting Kodak high-contrast infra-red
film and using digital methods
to create images in the style
of traditional hand-tinting.
This section of my website is
in development. It exhibits some
my photography and offer prints
for purchase.
